GLOW STICKS

DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY WITH GLOW STICKS. McKayden was playing with one of the big thick ones last night and for some reason he thought that it would be a good idea to bend it. Well there we are sitting on the couch and all of the sudden he started SCREAMING! It squirted in his eye and was burning. SO there I was on the phone with poison control, again. We had to hold him down and flush his eyes out with water. The kid is a lot stronger then he looks. It took Both Blair and I to hold him down. After ten minutes of toucher he was able to calm down.

Why Do They Have to Grow Up SO Fast.

On August 26Th my baby boy went to his first day of Kindergarten. I thought that we was starting out the day great. We got up he attempted to eat. He was a little nervous and didn't eat a bite. He got all ready. We went out side and took pictures. Then we went down to the school and was 20 minutes early. "So I thought." So we took some more pictures. We got down to his class and I realized that all the kids were already there and sitting on the rug. I look behind me and I have no kids with me. Presley walked right in and was saying hi to the class. McKayden was hiding out side the door not wanting to go in. I looked at the teacher and asked her if we was late. In her sweet little kindergarten teacher voice she said Yes school starts at 8:30. So instead of being 20 minutes early we were 10 minutes late! Poor McKayden I felt so bad. After I finally got him in and settled Presley and I started to leave. All of the sudden Presley runs in front of me blocking the door and looking at me she says "MOM we can't just leave McKayden here." Poor little thing was so worried about her big brother. Later we went and picked him up and he jumped in the car and said. "School was GREAT." They did the gingerbread man chase, and got to know each other. The next day he was so excited to go to school that he told me that he didn't want me to take him in to his class and that I could just drop him off. Well that was a big mistake. He did the same thing he had done the day before. Hiding outside the door the teacher tried to get him in. He wouldn't go. Good thing that he has a little friend that is in his class. The teacher sent Luke out and McKayden walked right in with him. McKayden has gotten a lot better now. He walks to school everyday with a group of friends. They get there early enough to play on the play ground and make it to class on time everyday. I still can't believe that my baby boy is in kindergarten.
