We had a great time when we went to Graceland. I never thought that I would get to go there, but well as you can see for your self, there we are. It all started Friday morning at 4am. I spent the night at my moms that night so that I didn't have to get the kids out of bed so early. I didn't sleep at all. So Finely at 4am I got out of bed, got ready, and headed up to the airport. I had to take 3 planes to get there, and by the was I am not that great of a flyer. I started in Salt Lake City, then off to Phoenix, then to Dallas, and arrived in Arkansas around 4:30pm. I got to the rental car place and they tell me that they don't have the car I asked for, just a small economy car. So instead i ended up with a brand new Mustang. FUN! I loved that car. It had so much power. In the south I think that they love there Mustang's cause there was so many out there. So I found Blair's hotel that he was staying at, unpacked and then he took me out to my favorite restaurant. The Olive garden. MMMM... it was good. The next morning we went from Little Rock Arkansas to Memphis Tennessee. It only took us about two hours. We got to see a lot of cotton fields, and a lot of Jesus Saves signs. I have never been any where that didn't have mountains so it was very strange for me. But after the two longest hours of my life we made it. We drove down Elvis Presley Blvd, and of course down at the end of Lonely Street was the Heart Break Hotel. We didn't waste any time. We parked the car and went to get our tickets. We were the second tour of the day. We got VIP tickets so that we could go through the Mansion as many times as we wanted, and we did. Blair was such a trooper. We went through it three times. It took us at least 5 hours to do that. then there was four more museums that we went in to.We got to go inside both of his planes. The Lisa Marie was huge it had two Georges bathrooms they both had 100% gold sinks. there was a queen sized bed, bar, and a big couch.
We did go to the grave sights like 5 times it was very neat. All of the Presley's were there Starting with His twin brother that died at birth Jesse Garon, then his mother, his father, Elvis him self and his grandma who out lived all of them. Were were there before they opened and after they closed that day. It was great! Later that day we went to our hotel called the Days Inn Memphis. It was great There was pic's of Elvis in our room they played Elvis music outside and in the lobby 24/7, and you could watch Elvis movies any time you wanted for free! There was an awesome swimming pool there but it was way to cold to go swimming. Everyone told us to go to Beale St. for dinner. Wrong I have never been more scared in my whole life. We even walked in to some teenagers fist fighting. We had to go down an ally for dinner. Which was OK Blair loved it but I wasn't to impressed. Then we had to walk back to the car. It is pretty bad when the lady that told us to go to this place was begging us not to talk to anyone while we were there. The next morning we went down to the lobby to eat breakfast and I saw this lady putting pic's up for sale. So I went over to talk to her and it turned out that she had done some movies with Elvis. So we chatted for a while and I didn't buy any thing from her cause she was charging so much. But it was neat to talk to her. She told me that he and Elvis had a great friendship and that he was very fun to work with. After that we went back up to the graves to say good bye. They let you go there from 7:30 - 8:30am. for free. Then we started our way back to Arkansas. I had the time of my life and I will never forget it.

The pic of Blair by the plane...it cracks me up for some reason. I can see him thinking... "Ok, why am I here? Why am I standing next to a plane?" He is a good sport
