This is the Story of Ms. Presley...
Presley: Mom will you play school with me?

Me: Sure.

Presley: Okay, Mom I am your teacher. So you need to sit down on the floor. You need to call me Ms. Presley. "remember Presley is 3 and can't say her R's very well. Makes the story a little better"

Me: Okay.

Presley: Okay Mom today we are going to learn about sex!

Me: WHAT!!! (my mouth hanging open and eyes about to bulge out)

Presley: Yes Now there are many kinds of sex. There are green ones, brown ones, lots of different colors and they have lots of legs.

Me: Ms. Presley do you mean insects?

Presley: Yes Mom that is what I said. Don't you listen!

My little Babies are 1!!

On November 15, 2009 everyone told us we would loose our mind. With two crying babies and two others that whine! Here we are 2010 and I know if we had to, in a heartbeat we would do it again!
Happy birthday to our little Twinners! We really made it through our first year.
We had a big birthday party at Blair's work for the girls on the night of their birthday it was a lot of fun. There were so many people that showed up. We ate some dinner opened presents and then the girls got to enjoy their first birthday cake, and when I say enjoy I mean it. They were a little hesitant for the first oh I would say two seconds, but then they dove right in.
We all had a great time, Thanks to all of you that were apart of our first year and their first BIRTHDAY!

First Day of First Grade

My little man is growing up so fast. McKayden started first grade this year. We started the morning out with a nice warm breakfast. He thought that he had a really cool mom.
Then it was time for our walk to school. But before leaving we had to get some more pics in. He was VERY willing to pose for these as you can see. But little did he know I was bringing the camera with me to his school.
This is when McKayden decided that I wasn't such a cool mom any more. He was so mad that I would even think to take pictures of him at school.
This is the BEST part of the First grade. This is when McKayden became a man, he know has a real desk. Yes I know what you are thinking and yes he was talking about this all summer. As soon as he had a real desk in first grade then he would be a man. Don't know where he got that from, but there you have it.

The Project of the YEAR!!

Well it all started with my great idea of wanting to get the kids a play set for Easter. So Blair and I broke down and bought one. In order to get it all set up we were going to need to level "some" of the back yard. Upon doing so we both decided that we didn't like how our yard was set up and that while we were at it we will go ahead and re landscape our whole yard. So we did what any "sane" people would do and we tore up all of our grass and posted it on KSL for free, well with in seconds of hitting the submit button the phone was ringing off the hook. That day we had a group of neighbors come and haul away most of the grass. Well as almost all of our projects go we ran in to a few complications. First was the main water line. On the city side we knew for a long time that there was a leak. Well that leak because a small river without grass to keep it hidden. So Blair thought that it would be a good idea since we already had things torn up that we should go ahead and change the piping from the old nasty galvanized pipe to the more modern.Second we decided to add to our driveway. So we did that too.
Once we got all the wholes filled back in we had to start the leveling. WOW that was a job in its self. Lots of LONG hours went in to the leveling project. Remember this all started in March. In July we were finally able to get the play set up. Not do to any slack, Blair had to go to Florida for a month in April. Then when he got back he had to go to Camp Williams for Annual Training. We had to redo the entire sprinkling system, now in the spring we will put top soil in and grass. So this post and project is To Be Continued...

Welcome Back!

Believe it or not I am going to try and get back in to blogging again. I know it has been since the twins were born, but it has been a busy year. That also means that there is way to many things that have gone on since I last blogged so I am going to start fresh with the most recent things that I can remember.

Introducing Taylor and Bailey Jasperson

On November 15, 2009 at 6:32 and 6:34 am. we welcomed the newest little members to our family. Taylor was the first born weighing in at 5 lbs 13 oz and 16 1/2 inches long. Then came Bailey weighing in at 5 lbs 3 oz and 17 inches long.
I really don't know what time I went in to labor, but it woke me up at about 4:30 in the morning. I waited to wake Blair up till around 5:30 to make sure that it wasn't a false alarm. Bad IDEA. I didn't thing that I was going to make it all the way to Provo. It felt like the longest drive of my life. By the time we got there my contraction were about 1 minute apart and I was fully dilated and ready to push. But little Bailey was breech so we had to do a c-section. The girls were taking in to the nicu right away and that is where they have been ever since. They are doing very well we are just waiting for them to be able to eat all there feeding orally. Right now they are up to 3 feedings a day and with in the next day or two they will be up to four. As soon as they can do back to back feedings really well they will be able to come home.

GLOW STICKS

DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY WITH GLOW STICKS. McKayden was playing with one of the big thick ones last night and for some reason he thought that it would be a good idea to bend it. Well there we are sitting on the couch and all of the sudden he started SCREAMING! It squirted in his eye and was burning. SO there I was on the phone with poison control, again. We had to hold him down and flush his eyes out with water. The kid is a lot stronger then he looks. It took Both Blair and I to hold him down. After ten minutes of toucher he was able to calm down.
